Contact Nichia with a complete luminaire brief

One clear set of electrical and application inputs helps route the request without repeated discovery calls.

Send the review inputs

A useful inquiry identifies the project stage—concept, sample review, tender, production release, or replacement—because each stage needs a different level of certainty. Concept teams may be comparing control architectures, while a production release needs an exact electrical configuration, current documentation revision, quantities, and destination. If the request concerns a replacement, include photographs of labels and wiring but do not energize or open equipment unless a qualified person can do so safely.

For control questions, describe the device that issues the command and the behavior expected at minimum output, after mains restoration, and during an emergency state. DALI-2 and 0-10V requests should also identify who owns commissioning. For environmental questions, provide ambient range, enclosure position, ingress arrangement, and expected operating hours. An IP value or surge figure by itself cannot describe every site condition.

Response time depends on the completeness of the brief and whether a standard family or modified configuration is involved. Do not send confidential drawings until an appropriate information-sharing arrangement is in place. Submitted details are used to route and answer the inquiry under the Privacy Policy. Commercial availability, certification scope, and final technical acceptance are confirmed only through the relevant project documents.

Include LED voltage range, output current, input voltage, dimming protocol, environmental limits, destination market, quantities, and target approval date. If a fixture sample exists, note the LED board and control device. Nichia can organize compatibility questions and available documentation, but final compliance and thermal acceptance belong to the tested luminaire configuration.
